With the air conditioner on inside the sunroom, my pal and I haven’t even missed a beat
I have to say that I’m really gleeful about the Summer. That’s not something that I’ve yet to feel since relocating to the land of the heat pump. Where I come from, the Summer is a nice reprieve from the frigid that dominated that climate. When it came to Heating and Air Conditioning conversations, it was all about the heating and the gas furnace. The Summer was so pleasant that my wife and I only had a window air conditioner component in our bedroom. And even then, my pal and I rarely had to use it; For sure, I was so glad to be done with the gas furnace and five months of Winter. Moving down south was what my pal and I constantly had on our radar when it came to retiring, once my pal and I replaced the residential Heating and Air Conditioning on the house and sold it, my pal and I were pretty much committed to living out our days down south. But that almost didn’t happen as that first Summer just about made me pack up and head back north. I’m glad that I didn’t though. This is our eighth Summer down here and I’ve pretty much got the hang of how to manage this level of heat and humidity. Still, I have been bummed out that my pal and I weren’t able to utilize the sunroom my pal and I have. That was a sizable part of us wanting this house. And my pal and I hated that for at least four months out of the year, it was just too overheated out there. This Summer, it will be different because my pal and I now have a ductless heat pump out there. And that’s going to make all the difference for sure. With the air conditioner on inside the sunroom, my pal and I haven’t even missed a beat. And it’s just glorious.
