I have just bought a big boat, and the first thing I have observed after having it for some time, is that what they say is true, boats are crazily high-priced to own and operate, but rather than supply up, I am trying to figure out a way to still be a boat owner but also not lose all the money that I still have, but so far the best system I have come up with is to rent the boat out for fishing trips, but i can take people out on day trips in the boat, and then bring them back.
- I have already done this a few times, and so far pretty good.
But I realize that I am going to need to upgrade the air-conditioning on the inside of the boat if I am to get repeat customers or recommendations! The indoor area of my boat is small, and when the sun is blazing down, if I don’t at the least repair my a/c then nobody will care about being in this boat for a few hours. I might even need to get a whole new cooling system because it may be that I am well past a/c repair in this boat. That would not surprise me, because this boat has already needed a new engine, as well as a few other things that I have had to replace. I am sure there is a cooling technology out there that is really in the long term worth it too, because it is pretty unbearable in the indoor lodge right now, even when it is not that tepid outside.
