I made the decision to live with some roommates when I first got into college.
The people I was with and I rented a home and I just rented a room in that house. The Heating and A/C plan wasn’t that bad, that was a single of the things I distraught most about. I wanted to keep that Heating and A/C plan running efficiently so that the people I was with and I didn’t have to face overpriced energy bills. Well, I told everybody straight up that the people I was with and I all needed to invest in washable air filters, so the people I was with and I weren’t destroying the environment. Everybody laughed and asked why they should invest in something like that. I explained to everybody that all people should do their section to help save the planet, creating less trash, less pollution, and making the world better than how the people I was with and I entered it. Everybody thought I was an earth hugging hippie, which I didn’t appreciate. I ended up getting the washable filter myself and I cleaned it every month. Eventually, the other guys saw what I was doing was a superb thing, and they all said sorry and gave me some cash for investing in the costly washable filter. They even helped to clean it every so often. The people I was with and I all started getting along enjoying football together and things like that. I brought energy saving tips to the table, so our energy bills were low, and everybody loved that. They all became our friends, and these days they love to hang out at our home because I have a geothermal Heating and A/C hooked up to radiant radiant floors. Everybody wants an Heating and A/C just like the a single I have now.
