I met Mike about six weeks ago when he came to do regular maintenance service on my parent’s HVAC system. My parents were out of town and I was single and working from home, so I told them that I would stay at their house while they were gone, just to keep an eye on things. They have one of those HVAC service plans and the HVAC company called my parent’s house to schedule an HVAC inspection for that week. Since there didn’t seem to be any problems with the system, my parents felt I could handle it. Boy, did I. Mike and I have now been dating for six weeks. I know that there are rules about HVAC technicians dating customers, but technically I wasn’t a customer. I was immediately attracted to him and kept taking peeks of him while he worked. I knew I would have to make the first move and here we are. And I adore my HVAC technician boyfriend. He’s really smart. I wanted to be able to have conversations with him about his work, because he loves his work, so I did a little research on HVAC technology and it is way above my head. Not only is he smart and has a good job, he’s dependable and honest and in great shape, all necessary for his job as an HVAC technician, and a good healthy relationship. Mike talks about finding a vocational college nearby that offers classes on specializations. Mike is interested in focusing on refrigeration. It’s great to have a boyfriend with goals. HVAC technicians make great boyfriend material.
