Even though we’ve been using the same air filters for years, I didn’t know the exact make and model they were because I wasn’t the 1 installing them… My hubby has always taken charge of our Heating plus A/C system, so I’ve always relied on him to do it.
He schedules the Heating plus A/C tune ups, he clears the weeds away from the condenser unit, and he replaces our air filters every now and then. Before he left for a supplier trip, he asked myself and others to purchase more air filters although he didn’t leave the details about which 1s; Unluckyly, he was unable to communicate with myself and others while in his trip and I was left to fend for myself. Before going to the store, I looked at the outdated air filter and tried to remember it in detail so I could find it at the store. In hindsight, I should have taken a photo of it, because I had no idea that there were so several air filters to choose from. I did my best to choose the 1 I thought was the same, but when I got home, I realized that it wasn’t exactly the same. The good news was that it was the right size! I replaced the outdated air filter because it was gross and I went about my afternoon. When my hubby returned home, he asked myself and others where the air filters were because he was going to replace them. I told him that I’d already replaced it and he was shocked. He double evaluated my work and even though it wasn’t the exact same, he was impressed that I’d gotten it replaced in the first location.
