Last week, I decided to move my window unit air conditioner to the bedroom because the weather has really been heating up outside. I can’t sleep well at all when the temperature in the house is too hot, and so I knew that I needed to start thinking about getting the A/C up and running for the summer. I am one of those people who can’t really sleep well when the temperature is too high in my room at night. I have some friends who can sleep no matter how warm it is, but I’m just not like that at all. I love having the air conditioning and getting my room as cold as I possibly can before I snuggle down under the covers to go to sleep. When the weather starts heating up, I can’t sleep at all until the A/C is running. So that’s why I decided to get the A/C unit from the storage area in the basement and get it all cleaned up for the summer. I knew that once I got the window unit A/C all fixed up and installed in the bedroom, I would start to sleep much better! Anyway, when I got the A/C unit off of its shelf in the garage, I lost my footing and I fell backwards and ended up dropping the A/C unit right on the top of my foot. I never knew how heavy the A/C unit was until it landed right on top of my foot! It hurt so much, I was sure that it was broken. It was the worst feeling! Even worse than that, now I can’t carry my air conditioning up the stairs and so my room is still hot and stuffy!
