I had a headache when I got there, plus now it's a migraine.

I received a neck injury on the job a few weeks ago.

  • It wasn’t that bad, but the nurse warned me that I may have headaches for a while afterwards.

I am an HVAC technician, and I had been sent out on an appointment to repair an air conditioning unit. Normally, I don’t mind when people are outside and around me while I’m working. By the time I arrived, I already had a considerable headache, but by the time I left, it was an all-out migraine. I was almost in tears, My head hurt so badly. The homeowner had their teenagers out by the pool playing obnoxiously loud music. I was working only a few feet away. Finally, the homeowner came out to see how I was doing. I told him that my work would soon be finished. Then I looked over to the pool and asked if it was possible for the kids to turn the music down. He looked at me, and looked at the kids, and then back at me. He said he didn’t think the music was too loud, but he would tell them to turn it down if he really needed to. I could tell that he wasn’t keen on telling the kids to turn down their music just because the HVAC technician asked. Needless to say, I tried to work as quickly as possible to get out of that terrible situation. By the time I got back into my HVAC van, I was in serious pain!
