I bought a brand new A/C machine and gas furnace about 3 years ago.
The original warranty on the machine was for 36 months.
I did not want the machine to run out of warranty, so I contacted a corporation to see if I could renew the warranty on the A/C and gas furnace. The insurance corporation told me that they do not handle things appreciate that. Once the warranty is up on the gas furnace and A/C unit, there is no way to extend the warranty. The average lifespan for a gas furnace and air conditioner or around 10 years. If you take exceptionally good care of the machine, you might hit the top end of the spectrum. If you do not like your heating and cooling system well, then the machine might not even last half that time, regularly tied up tune-ups and repair check-ups on the machine are an crucial part of official service. I have been using a corporation in neighborhood to perform repair tune-ups every season. I have the performance tune up done while I was in the Spring months, before it is too hot, and while I was in the Winter months, before it is extraordinarily cold. The tune ups help find small complications that may occur and the tune ups provide the inspector a chance to see the machine in action. When the warranty is up on the machine, I am hopeful that the gas furnace and the air conditioner will still continue to labor well for several years to come in the future. I really can’t afford to replace the unit again until the loan is paid in full.
