It was really our sister who told me about the fact that water oil furnaces could explode separate from regular service plus care.
This scared me quite badly! I hadn’t had our water oil furnace ran tests on the whole time I have been living at this condo with our wifey plus youngsters.
For some strange reason, I never thought to have our water oil furnace ran tests on. I had the regular Heating plus A/C plan worked on each peak season, but the Heating plus A/C experts never mentioned anything about the water oil furnace requiring service. I believe that’s because I never asked them about it. So I was upset plus I called our Heating plus A/C professionals to come out. The Heating plus A/C expert said our water oil furnace was in wonderful condition, but it was kind of old, around 12 years. They explained that this certain water oil furnace was built to last plus it didn’t seem to have any concerns. There were no leaks plus there was no bulging. Also, they said the pressure valve was in wonderful operating condition. They agreed that water oil furnaces could burst if the pressure valve was faulty plus in some cases, water oil furnaces could shoot up through the roof if the pressure was built up too high, but that was undoubtedly rare. I still didn’t suppose comfortable plus asked about strange openings for our hot water supply. I was cheerful to hear about other openings care about getting a tankless water oil furnace or investing in a combi boiler which could supply heating plus the hot water supply. That was interesting to me, so I decided to have a combi boiler installed, plus had the old water oil furnace removed. I’m cheerful with the hot water now, despite the fact that I can’t wait to test the new boiler for heating in the Winter time season!
