Inheriting the family industry

My family isn’t like most families, and my family doesn’t work for anybody, but people work for my family! Both of my parents work in the a/c business, then they shared a similar goal, they were both sick of their everyday boring jobs & so they decided to start their own corporation.

  • My Mom is a real handy man, and he is good at fixing all kinds of things… Growing up, my parents taught me that it is wonderful for me to be independent & be your own boss, & when I was fifteen my father started taking me to work with him to teach me the ropes, ever since then, I have grown fond of laboring with heating & cooling units & 1 afternoon I proudly exclaimed to my father that I wanted to do exactly what he did too.

So on that afternoon, my father set me up to inherit the family Heating, Ventilation, & A/C company from him & my mom & in the meantime, he agreed that if I wanted to, I could work for him. I agreed & started trying to learn all I could about heating & cooling. My Mom taught me a wide variety of different topics on everything I would need to know. He showed me the differences between oil versus gas, how to do gas furnace repairs, repairs, how to install Heating, Ventilation, & A/C units, manage the company website, how to clean the ducts, & much more. There was so much I wasn’t sure if I would be able to retain it all… When I couldn’t remember everything my father had taught me, I felt disappointed. But my father kindly told me that all would come in time & before I knew it I would be an expert on all things involving heating & cooling.
