It turns out that having good temperature control settings is good while working out

When I first started getting back into a good exercise routine, I had a buddy tell me that I shouldn’t be blasting the air conditioning when I was working out.

I actually had my home-gym set up in my basement and the A/C made it easier for me to workout more.

My buddy was telling me that I needed to turn off the A/C altogether so I would sweat more and burn more fat. I didn’t even like the sound of it. Not to mention, I didn’t want my basement to smell like body sweat. Even if it were true that I would burn more fat, I wanted to be comfortable while working out. I ended up choosing to go with a personal trainer to help me with workout techniques. The personal trainer I got actually agreed with me that it was a good thing to be comfortable while working out. He agreed that making the place smell sweaty was not a good thing. He also pointed out the fact that what I was eating was more helpful with losing excess fat and providing me with greater energy levels. I got on a nutrition program with my personal trainer and things started coming along very well. He taught me all kinds of excellent workout techniques and I was getting results! The best thing though was that I could keep my air conditioning on at the perfect levels so I could really get into these intense workouts. I also started appreciating the more healthy choices of foods, and I really have my personal trainer to thank for steering me down the right path.
