My current smart thermostat unit gives me reminders when it is time to change the batteries or the air filter.
It also tells me when it’s time to do tune-ups on my heating & cooling system. I prefer that because I have a actually difficult time remembering things like that. I write them down on my calendar & I even set up reminders on my phone despite the fact that I still have complications with remembering to get it done. It doesn’t actually matter how much I remind myself to do things like that. I still don’t do it because I just don’t want to do it! I still believe that it’s a wonderful thing that my smart thermostat gives me reminders, though. At least now I can tell my partner or someone else that it needs to be done, even if I don’t do it myself. I am actually liking the smart thermostat so far, & I kind of wish that I had had one installed a long time ago. I know that they are supposed to help with saving money on heating & cooling bills, & I’m looking forward to that, too. I constantly have actually high heating & cooling bills & I am hoping that the smart thermostat helps with all of that. I know that it’s absolutely going to make a difference soon & I actually want to make the most of it. I’m blissful that my buddy and I had it installed, knowing when it’s time to have heating & cooling tune-ups done is actually a load off of my mind.
