It is incredible how some people are just naturally gifted at things.
I’ve gotten to watch my family really grow their own natural talents and do well.
For me, I don’t seem to have any kind of natural talent, either that or I haven’t discovered it yet. Anyways, I got to see this natural talent in my two kids. My daughter has a very natural musical talent, she is very gifted when it comes to picking up an instrument, and within a few hours, she has it all figured out and is playing it like a pro. Recently she has been playing the piano, and she discovered a new song that she likes. Even though the song looked long and complicated, she had all of it memorized and played it on the piano no issues a week later. Just incredibly fascinating, because I don’t know how she remembers to play all of it like that, it seems like it would be hard to play. My son, on the other hand, is a little repairman. Even when he was a kid, he had a fascination with building and repairing things. Some of this would get him in trouble, because he would dismantle certain items, so he could figure out how to put it back together. Anyways, he also seems to be able to figure out things incredibly fast as well. Recently he has been learning how to repair HVAC systems. This started when he picked up a HVAC manual and read it front to back. Like my daughter, he was able to figure out most of how the heater and A/C works within a week. I wasn’t sure I liked him working on the HVAC device, unless he is a certified HVAC technician. But it sure seems like he knows what he is doing.
