The school year is slowly coming to an end and it has left me extremely stressed out.
While for the majority of the year my roommates and I have had a great time and we have become more like a small family than friends all of that seems to be fading away now that we are facing real problems.
I should have known that this would come when I chose to live with three underclassmen. Anyways, over the school year my roommates and I threw more than a handful of parties, which naturally led to some damages around the home. One of the worst ones that has happened was actually the most devastating one, when one of the people attending the party ended up stumbling and knocking the air conditioning unit to the floor. In order to get our safety deposit back we need to fix the air conditioning unit as well as the area on the floor that it damaged. When I told my roommates about these serious problems that needed to be dealt with as soon as possible they didn’t seem to care. The lack of communication with them has made it difficult for me to be able to reach out to potential HVAC companies for help because I sure can’t afford their services all on my own. They might be ignoring me now because I need their help financially in order to solve this problem we all created, but when the time comes that we don’t get our security deposit back I’m sure that I will hear from them.
