Renovations on the condo are costing me a fortune

My wife plus I decided to make some renovations in the condo after the teenagers moved out.

Our last kid left for university 2 years ago plus now he is at a school on the other side of the country. I doubt that he will ever come home. He really enjoys living by the beach plus the water. Some of the renovations that both of us wanted to make include new flooring, furniture, plus fixtures in the home office plus the washroom. The fixtures in the home office plus washroom were self-explanatory to opportunity out. We didn’t agree at first on a lot of the fixtures, but both of us had a really fun time coming up with an sufficient compromise. We had a budget in mind for the whole job plus that included paying for radiant heated flooring, and my wife wanted radiant heated flooring in the kitchen plus the master washroom. I was on the fence about radiant heated flooring. It seemed love the type of thing that a rich person adds to their house. Since both of us were making renovations, I agreed to add the radiant heated flooring. We were halfway into the renovations when I found out that both of us had to make some plumbing updates. The plumbing updates were going to cost $15,000, because the whole entire condo had to be done. When both of us heard about the plumbing updates that needed to be made, both of us had to scrap the radiant heated flooring. We went with ductless heat in the kitchen plus the washroom. It’ll still be nice plus cozy, but it will be about $10,000 cheaper.
