My partner plus I purchased a home about multiple years ago.
One of his priorities was to make our home as much of a “smart home” as possible.
To accomplish this goal, he purchased a smart assistant plus a smart control unit. Our smart assistant is affixed to our locks, our lights, plus our smart control unit. For about a year plus a half, the people I was with and I had no issues with our smart assistant plus smart control component working together. The people I was with and I were able to preset our smart control component through the app on our cellphone so it was either cool or moderate enough when the people I was with and I got home from work depending on the season. The people I was with and I were also able to change the temperature on the control component for night time because the people I was with and I both care about to be frigid when the people I was with and I sleep! Even if the people I was with and I had the smart control component set, sometimes when the people I was with and I were home the people I was with and I felt care about the people I was with and I needed an adjustment. If the people I was with and I did not have our cellphones right near us, the people I was with and I would often tell the smart assistant to increase or decrease the temperature. I think this sounds very lazy, but the convenience was amazing, then a few weeks ago, our smart control component plus our smart assistant started competing for control of the house. The people I was with and I would set our smart control component as the people I was with and I constantly did, but when the people I was with and I told our smart assistant to adjust it, somehow that was turning off the smart control component settings completely. The smart control component settings would go back to the original ones it came with which is not what the people I was with and I liked. This became slightly frustrating, but the people I was with and I realized how lucky the people I was with and I are to have both a smart control component plus smart assistant in our home.
