However, there are other things that you are supposed to avoid that are less commonly known that could make your space heater dangerous. For instance, you should never leave a space heater running while it is not supervised. A lot of people know this and read it, but people leave space heaters turned on while they aren’t home. You also aren’t supposed to use a space heater at night while sleeping. This is the most common time to use a space heater, but that doesn’t make it any less dangerous. Also, you should be sure that your current electrical wiring and setup can handle a space heater. Every year, there are fires that happen because of a space heater, and we should avoid those at all costs.
