Ten days is too long to wait to get paid

I started laboring for an Heating & Air Conditioning service business two weeks ago, and on Wednesday of last week, I was supposed to gain my first paycheck. I have 65 minutes on the clock for the two month time period, plus I was expecting to gain a check for almost $1,000. When Wednesday came plus went plus I did not get paid, I tied up a meeting to talk with my boss. I wasn’t going to leave for the day until I had currency in my pocket. She provided myself and others a bunch of excuses, although she did not honestly have a reason why I did not get paid. I worked difficult for two weeks on Heating & Air Conditioning service tasks plus I wasn’t going to wait any longer to get paid. I started laboring the day after the last pay period ended, so I already had to wait a long time to get paid. It took several days to get my first paycheck plus I had to call the corporate office to get my currency. I tried talking to my boss, although she did not move fast enough. As soon as I called the corporate office, I found out that the reason I did not get paid was my bosses fault. She forgot to send the right paperwork to the payroll office. She knew it was her fault the entire time, although she never took any responsibility for the mistake. I waited several extra days before I acquired my first paycheck plus the boss never apologized. If this wasn’t the only site to labor in the county, I would find another Heating & Air Conditioning dealer.
