However, my mom thought it was a fantastic proposal to get her away from the house for a couple of afternoons, so I proposed going to the beach.
My sibling perked up a little bit when I said every one of us could stay in a room with a total view of the water; then I made reservations at a nice place by the beach plus I picked a room with a total view of the water. I knew our sibling would be happy if she could put her feet in the water… The beach always makes her guess that she is better. The two of us got to the hotel around supper time plus the place was packed with people; but when it was our turn to talk to Guest Services, they told us that every one of us were fortunate every one of us had a reservation because they were actually all sold out. The clerk looked up the reservation that I made plus he told me that they did not have any more rooms with a literal view of the beach. I was totally bummed out, although I did not want to argue with the desk guy… He offered us vouchers for a free lunch in the restaurant plus a free movie rental for the inconvenience. The room did not have a view of the beach, however the A/C inside was ice cold. My sibling plus I turned the a/c down entirely low since every one of us did not have to pay the electric bill there. I do not have a central A/C in our apartment, so it was actually particularly nice. The two of us did not have a great view of the beach, however every one of us could still smell the salt in the air from our air conditioned room.
