The guests were angry about the A/C problems

I offered to transport all of the guests to a different room entirely, however a few of them demanded a refund

I started laboring at the hotel 3 years back. Back then, I was laboring as a housekeeper… It was my responsibility to wash the bathrooms, empty the trash, and make the beds. I spent 6 weeks laboring really hard before I finally managed to get a promotion, and my first promotion was the head of housekeeping. It was a really great job because I finally had full-time hours. Since I was a manager, I also gained benefits like dental, vision, and health. After a year, the owner of the hotel easily offered to make me the manager. I knew the job would come with a great deal of headaches, however every day seems worse than the previous. I have been the manager for roughly 6 weeks, and I deal with problem after problem. This week, all of the AC devices on the second floor stopped laboring. The bunch of us had 9 rooms rented on the second floor, and every single one of the guests were frustrated about the AC device complications. I couldn’t blame any of the guests for complaining, because I would be frustrated as well. The temperature outside is roughly 71 degrees, and I know it is pressing to run the AC device in order to be comfortable. I offered to transport all of the guests to a different room entirely, however a few of them demanded a refund. The bunch of us lost almost $1,000 due to the complication with the AC devices. Our maintenance staff is lost, and the owner of the hotel is dragging her feet! Her answer to the setback is to keep those rooms vacant for the moment. That will not be helpful when our busy season is right around the corner.
