When someone gave me this car, I was pretty excited.
However, I knew that if the car was a gift for free that someone that I barely knew gave me, it must be a clunker.
There is no way that somebody would give me a free car that was in excellent condition. Thankfully, they gave me a car that ran without any problems, but when they gave it to me, I knew that the central air conditioner was broken. When you get an older car, usually, the central air conditioner is always broken. I got the car in the middle of summer, and it was awful. It was so hot, and without the air conditioner, the only thing that I could do was roll down the window. Sure, it helped to roll down the window, but it definitely was not as comfortable as having an air conditioner. Still, I did not expect the car to have a working air conditioner. However, I did expect the car to have a working heating system, and that is why I was so surprised when the car did not have a working heating system. I tried to turn on the heater during the winter to defrost my windows, and that is when I noticed that there was no heat. Thankfully, I figured out that there was no heat early on. Apparently, the heating system was blowing out coolant before, and instead of fixing the heater, they just disconnected the heater. They didn’t really drive the car much, so they were not worried about the heating system.
