I didn’t want to stay at labor late on Thursday night, however my boss gave to spend my money almost everyone overtime and buy pizzas for supper the next weekend.
The people I was with and I were having a state inspection and all of the paperwork needed to be filed and completed.
The people I was with and I were making sure that all of the t’s were crossed and all of the I’s were dotted. It’s tedious work, however someone needed to stay to make sure that it was done; A few of my co-workers and I gave to complete the paperwork, my boss left at 7 p.m. and the 3 of us were there by ourselves to complete the work. I thought the boss was going to stay with us and I was pretty infuriated when she went home, and none of us went beach new home at breakfast time so all of us could help him with the paperwork and she left early to be with her family. I was already aggravated when the boss left. When the A/C in the break room stopped blowing frigid air, I wasn’t going to rest there any longer. I tried to tap the air conditioner lightly and I turned all of the buttons on and off. I even gently kicked the air conditioner, however nothing seemed to work. I told my co-workers that I wasn’t going to stay 1 minute longer. They agreed that it was bad circumstances. The A/C wasn’t toiling and the boss wasn’t even there to help. Everything was dropped into our lap and it absolutely wasn’t our responsibility to make sure that the paperwork was completed for the state inspection.
