I didn’t want to stay at labor late on Tuesday night, however my boss offered to pay everyone overtime plus buy pizzas for dinner the next weekend. The two of us were having a state inspection plus all of the paperwork needed to be filed plus completed. The two of us were making sure that all of the t’s were crossed plus all of the I’s were dotted. It’s tedious work, however someone needed to stay to make sure that it was done; A few of my co-workers plus I offered to complete the paperwork! My boss left at 7 p.m. plus the several of us were there by ourselves to complete the work. I thought the boss was going to stay with us plus I was pretty frustrated when he went home! None of us went home at supper time so we could help him with the paperwork plus he left early to be with his family. I was already frustrated when the boss left. When the A/C in the break room stopped blowing cold air, I wasn’t going to rest there any longer. I tried to tap the a/c lightly plus I turned all of the buttons on plus off. I even gently kicked the a/c, however nothing seemed to work. I told my co-workers that I wasn’t going to stay a single hour longer. They agreed that it was awful circumstances. The A/C wasn’t working plus the boss wasn’t even there to help. Everything was dropped into our lap plus it actually wasn’t our responsibility to make sure that the paperwork was completed for the state inspection.
