The stand in shower

My mom moved in with me and my wife last month.

My mom was having trouble taking care of herself, and I knew she needed to move.

I strongly did not want to put Mama in a nursing home, so I asked her to live with me in my home. At first, she unquestionably refused. She did not want to become a living burden on our family. My mom suffered from a stroke, when she was 65 years old. Mama is almost completely paralyzed on the right side of her body. She has a strenuous time performing even the most routine tasks that both of us take for granted. When our mom moved into our house, I decided we had to install a sit-in shower tub for our mom. We doubled the size of the guest bathroom, and a nearby plumbing corporation helped us install the sit in shower tub. My mom can now get in and out of the tub, now. She can fill the tub with water and take a bath, or she can use the shower attachment. There is a comfortable foam seat inside of the tub, so our mom can sit during her bath or take a shower. The sit in shower tub combination upgrade required the help of our plumbing dealer, but a lot of the fees were covered by our mom’s health insurance. Since she is so badly paralyzed, the sit-in shower tub combination is considered a medical necessity. My wife and I only paid a small fee to the upgrade dealer. The rest of the fees were fully covered by Medicare. My Mom cares about the new tub, and I guess she feels safer.
