Maybe I should have known this, and it makes sense, but I didn’t realize that temperature controls needed to be clean.
Apparently, dust can really affect the functioning of your temperature control, and can genuinely cause it to malfunction.
I didn’t know this until the Heating as well as Air Conditioning worker explained it to me. All I knew is that I was having some temperature control issues. When the heating and specialist pointed out all of the dust inside of it, I could see why it might start having issues. The specialist was genuinely careful and thorough and he cleaned out everything perfectly. After the temperature control was cleaned out, it started functioning appreciate normal again, which was great, however before the repairman left, I decided to ask him about smart temperature controls and his opinion of them. I was planning on getting an upgrade soon, and I would love to get a smart temperature control. He told me in his personal opinion they were the best, and that he had a smart temperature control as well. He told me to go for it, because they are energy efficient and save you money. This was all I needed to hear, I am entirely planning on upgrading to a smart temperature control in the future. I thanked the cooling specialist and he left to go to his next repair appointment. As tempting as it was to instantly go out and buy the new temperature control, I knew that wasn’t going to be a great idea, since I just had my new 1 repaired. I will genuinely just wait a little while longer.
