Underfloor heating has separate thermostats

My daughter laughed.

I got excited when I found out my daughter was coming to visit with the grandkids. It would give me a chance to show off my new underfloor heating along with my new hardwood floors. I got the underfloor heating installed last summer and I’m very proud of it. My daughter and the grandkids acted like they were very impressed with my new underfloor heating, once they arrived, but I thought maybe they were lying. After they spent the night, I found the window in the guest room cracked open and I know I had left it closed. So one of them must have opened the window to let the warm air out last night. When I asked them about it, no one would fess up to it. After a bit of badgering, finally, my daughter told me that the under floor heater works too well and that the kids couldn’t sleep. The kids were sleeping on sleeping bags on the floor so I guess this makes sense. Then I explained to my family that they have a thermostat in their room and can control the underfloor heating that way. There’s no reason for them to open a window and let the heat out. All they have to do is turn the heater down. My daughter laughed. She thought that the thermostat was for the whole house and she didn’t want to make me uncomfortable. Now that the kids know that their are thermostats control each room, I hope I can keep them from playing with all of them. Worst case scenario, I’ll just have to lock them with my phone.
