When our father passed away, my sister and I inherited his home. We hadn’t seen the property in a long time, and we were surprised with everything he did with the place. Evidently, our father installed a fancy HVAC system in the home. He had radiant heated floors, a smart thermostat, and a cooling system with rapid cooling. There was even a gas fireplace in his bedroom which was really cool. We were saying it would be such a shame to sell the place, but it’s not like we wanted to live together. After talking about it for a long period of time, we decided it would be best just to sell the property and split the profit. We didn’t want to fight over who gets to stay in the house, and it wouldn’t be fair that way anyway. So we ended up selling the place to a really nice family who appreciated the HVAC system that was installed in the home. It was upsetting because that was the final place our father lived, but we had to let it go. I thought it would have been great living in the home with the radiant heated floors and the gas fireplace in the bedroom. With the money from the sale though, I will be able to buy a nice home of my own, and I’m seriously thinking about getting a place with radiant heated floors. That type of heating system is so amazing and I hear that it’s extremely energy efficient. During that short period of time using the heating system before selling the place, even my sister was saying how nice the radiant heated floors were.
