My sibling called me yesterday plus asked me if I would come over plus look at his A/C unit.
If he was so desperate that he called me, I knew there was something seriously wrong with his A/C unit.
When I got to his house, he took me out to the A/C unit. He said he had been trying to remove the air filter, however it was stuck. First thing he did was try to fault either his husband or child for putting the air filter into the a/c the wrong way. That’s when I asked him how long it had been since they had changed the air filter. He said actually little, although he said had to change last year when he had the servicing done on the A/C unit. Since then, however, he had been hearing some strange noises coming from the A/C unit, plus the airflow was not as strong as it once was. It took me nearly half an minute to pull that air filter out of the A/C unit. It was so plugged with dust that you could not even blow through it. The a/c had to be struggling to run with this kind of air clogging. I showed the air filter to my sibling plus told him it had been at least two years since he changed that air filter. I asked him if he had absolutely had the servicing done on the A/C unit, plus he said he could not afford to have it done last year. I just shook my head plus reminded him I was an HVAC company. The only thing wrong with the A/C equipment was that it needed a modern fan unit.
