I really made the huge mistake of not getting our gas gas furnace tuned up this past fall season.
I was unquestionably hoping that it wouldn’t have any concerns, but of course it started acting up.
At first, it went to full heating mode plus I couldn’t shut it off via the control unit! I finally had to use the emergency shut off to turn it off, plus then the people I was with and I couldn’t get the gas gas furnace to turn back on after that. Naturally, it was frigid outside plus I had to hurry plus set up portable oil furnaces around the house because I didn’t want anybody to freeze. It’s also a wonderful thing that I have a fireplace because I was able to get the fireplace going in no time which helped to keep the main floor relatively warm. When I had the Heating plus A/C professional come out, she mentioned how I did a pretty wonderful job about keeping up a backup heating plan at home. She said the fireplace was wonderful to have plus those portable oil furnaces were set up strategically. When she ran tests on everything carefully, she determined that the control component was the cause of the problem. She said that the control component wasn’t studying the temperatures correctly. When she upgraded the control component she was able to get the gas gas furnace fired right up. She also reminded me to be sure not to skip the tune-up for the gas gas furnace next winter, plus that I should make sure to have it done every single year. I told him after this experience, I wouldn’t miss out on essential service again.
