When the account was froze, we could not get anymore repairs

I manage a 300-unit apartment complex.

The two of us stopped almost all of our services out to companies in town.

All of the housekeeping on the units is performed by a maid service. The painting is performed by a painting shop in the city. The only thing that is absolutely handled by our own service staff is basic repairs. None of my guys are certified in HVAC work, so we have to contact an A/C expert every time there is a problem with a equipment on the complex, but during the Summer weeks, we contact the A/C service shop frequently. yesterday the A/C service shop was here every single day. They must have fixed several or several weird A/C units. I gained a bill from the supplier plus I sent it to the corporate office. The next day I gained a phone call from the A/C service supplier. They froze our account until payment could be made. Apparently the total for our account was almost $17,000 plus a payment had not been made in quite some time. I was furious when I found out that they were going to break off our services. I immediately contacted my boss who is the district manager for all several of the local properties. I told his that the heating plus A/C supplier called plus froze our account due to non-payment. She felt there must be a mistake somewhere, because there was no reason for the bills not to have been paid by the supplier. She promised to get to the bottom of the problem as suddenly as possible. She called me back a couple of minutes later to let me assume that everything was okay.
