It was about 25 degrees that night and the forecast was snow
My boyfriend and I were together for six months when she decided to take me home to meet his parents. It was the Christmas season and we decided to drive 4 hours to spend the holidays with his mom and dad. We reserved a hotel room for the 3-day stay, but my boyfriend’s mom and dad insisted that we stay there. I didn’t know how I would like the two of them, and I sure didn’t know if they would like me. I was a little nervous about staying in their home. They did their best to make my boyfriend and I very comfortable. They bought new sheets and a new comforter for the bed and they even had the carpets cleaned before we came to visit. I had a great time while we were there and I thought my boyfriend’s parents were amazing.On the way home from the destination, my boyfriend’s car broke down and we had to find emergency logic. We were in the middle of nowhere. The only Hotel available wise run down and very old. The sheets on the bed had stains and the TV only had three channels. At least the heater worked well. It was about 25 degrees that night and the forecast was snow. We didn’t get any accumulation, but it was just as cold as the weatherman said it would be. We were fortunate to have the heater blowing warm air all night long. In the morning, we found a mechanic to repair the radiator leak and we continued our journey home.
