You want to add that special touch to your master bedroom

Depending on your bedroom size and budget you are working with, get a few leather chairs (so long as you didn’t decide to pick up plastic furniture).

For pretty much every homeowner, the master bedroom is sincerely sacred. The master bedroom gets special treatment. The master bedroom is where homeowners can easily be themselves without having to think too hard about how it affects the rest of the style of the residence. Of course, it’s really necessary to keep within your residential style if you do, however you can put together a very glamorous bedroom with pretty much any type of homestyle. I’m going to walk you through some good tips to make that master bedroom a wonderful bedroom that you can easily call your own. I’m an interior designer that’s been in the whole business since before you were born- probably. I’ve seen a ton of different styles come and go and I have an unbelievable handle on any homestyle from grand European retreat (the style we’ll discuss this upcoming week) to the cozy dollhouse (last week’s article). Let’s get started on your bedroom. My first tip to any homeowner trying to make a glamorous bedroom is to invest in matching custom furniture. It doesn’t necessarily matter if it’s oak furniture, cherry furniture, natural wood furniture or plastic furniture. It just has to match. Second, get some vertical lines (whether paintings, headboards, whatever) behind your bed. This really draws the eye and expands the room entirely. Depending on your bedroom size and budget you are working with, get a few leather chairs (so long as you didn’t decide to pick up plastic furniture). A leather chair can be incredibly inviting. Finally, for that glamorous bedroom, it’s a great idea to get a rug to go under the bed. What kind of rug? It doesn’t really matter, it just needs to match your color spread. Adding a rug under the bed makes the bed’s position look more intentional and, once again, brings the eyes to the main point of your glamorous bedroom: the bed!
