One thing you should never do is forget to change the air filter of your central heating and air conditioning unit.
Your central heating and air conditioning system relies on the regular change of the air filter to keep the ductwork clean and to keep the air flow going strong.
When you do not change the air filter of your central heating and air conditioning system on a monthly to bi monthly basis this is when things can get to be tough on your heating and cooling unit and could potentially lead to an HVAC emergency or your central heating and air conditioning system completely breaking down totally. This is the reason why it is important to always keep up with the changing of the air filter within your central heating and air conditioning system unit! If you have to, make yourself a note. This is what I do. I have a note on my calendar for each day of each month that the air filter to the central heating and air conditioning system unit needs to be changed. I even have a notice on my cell phone to remind me when it is time to change the good old air filter of my central heating and air conditioning system unit. The one time I forgot to change my air filter of my central heating and cooling system for a few months I ended up needing to call for heating and air conditioning repair from my local HVAC company. This was not fun!
