I don’t have to walk outside to know that my friend and I are on the brink of yet another heat season, but i know this already when I wake up in the afternoon to the sound of air conditioning. This is where my friend and I are now in the season. It’s closing in on the end of May plus the afternoons of temperatures in the mid 78’s. It won’t be long till the air conditioning is running a whole lot more as the temperatures settle into the upper 90’s for the next four months. This is the grind part of living down here; But it’s also a part of the deal that I’m definitely willing to embrace in order to care about just amazing weather the rest of the year, however still, if you don’t go into the Summer heat with a plan when it comes to air conditioning, you could encounter some trouble, however for sure, I start my air conditioning strategy in May! Of course, May is still just gorgeous. Being outdoors is still perfect even though my friend and I are getting the pollen dump about then. But that’s when I call the Heating plus A/C supplier to have them come out to do the air conditioning tune up. This is so substantial because it sets me up for savings since the heat pump will be operating at peak efficiency. Once the air conditioning tune up is done though, I don’t think much about air conditioning for the next few months. In fact, I leave the cooling off altogether. This allows me to get in touch with the rising temperatures again, and not only does being acweather conditionsd to the heat help me not be overwhelmed once Summer comes, it saves me a substantial amount on cooling costs. The more comfortable I am with higher temperatures, the less air conditioning demand I throw on the heat pump.
