When you live in a genuinely hot place like I do, you are used to the heat killing everything it touches.
I do not exaggerate when I say the heat genuinely does kill everything it touches, Because I’m sure it absolutely gets into the 90s here, and when the temperatures get that high everything that has been left out in the sun for too long will get scorched.
People including you and me are going to get sunburned if outside without sunscreen. I used to have some potted plants that were on our front patio that I was genuinely proud of, as I have been growing these attractive flowers all year and they were thriving in the sunlight and boiling hot climate. That was until the Summer months came along and I forgot to put them inside. You can only imagine what happened, as being in the cool air of the a/c program that would have protected them from the horrible heat from the Sun. The sun honestly nearly killed them, as I had multiple plants that I put out there and more than two of them died. The others were wilted severely, but with a lot of watering and TLC I was able to bring them back from the brink of death. I’m so glad that my friend and I have a fantastic quality AC unit in here, because otherwise I would be burning up like our plants were. I’ll be so delighted when the Summer is over and it is cool again.
