Against my better judgment & after all kinds of long talks, I agreed to having the in laws transport in right down the street.
For sure, I’m not one of those men who want to control my spouse or anything like that.
It’s just that my relationship with her parents is problematic at best, and just a visit from them inside the central a/c of my apartment is enough to make me want to stay elsewhere. And really, there’s nothing I can do about it, however like I said, I’m not the sort who is going to blow up at these people. Nor am I going to tell my spouse that either they go or I go. That’s just not sufficient or feasible in any way. Still, I like sticking to my plan of avoidance & that would taxing with them moving in just minutes from us. But I also saw it from my spouse’s point of view. Both my parents died abruptly & far too young. So I didn’t have to deal with them getting particularly old. My in laws are now at an age where they need to get out of the snow & ice. Since there kid lives down south, it all makes sense, but yet, I steered clear when they were closing on the home they’re in now. I had a look at it & told my spouse that it was a even-handed price but the Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment wasn’t going to last. That mattered not at all to the in laws who proceeded to particularly overload that old heat pump with a/c demand. So much so that it provided out toward the middle of October the first Summer they were here. Thankfully, the Heating plus Air Conditioning company let them use portable a/c units while they waited for the modern Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment.
