I found this out the hard way when last Thanksgiving my central heating and air conditioning system broke down when it was pretty cold. I was about to host the holiday dinner for the family and had no heating. And they fixed it, but wow was I unpleasantly surprised when I got the bill! I mean I guess it was worth it to pay that kind of money to have emergency heating and air conditioning repair on a major holiday when they too were probably awaiting dinner with their families, but wow, I think if something like that happened again I would call around to the family and see if someone else could host it last minute. Because I do not want to pay these kind of heating and air conditioning repair prices ever again! Not as long as I live. I do not care if it is on Christmas day, I will never ever do this again because I am not a rich person!
