It is funny how you can meet old friends again.
There are a lot of times we meet people, and unless they become really good friends, you usually lose touch with them.
Back when I was in high school, one of my classmates and I became friends. I wouldn’t say we were really close, but I did look forward to talking to him everyday. He was in my math class, and since math was and still is my worst subject, he was a nice distraction from the chaos the teacher would write on the board. Since he was slightly better at math than I was, he was able to help me with some of the problems. Well eventually we both graduated and went our separate ways. I went to HVAC university and later on became a certified HVAC technician. It didn’t take me long to find a job working as a HVAC specialist, and then my days became a blur of mostly the same. I arrived at work, went to the scheduled HVAC appointments, fixed people’s heating and air conditioning systems, then went to the next appointment, rinse and repeat. However, one day life threw me a curveball. When I arrived at one guy’s furnace repair appointment, I was surprised to see it was my old friend! While I worked on his heating unit, we caught up and laughed about old times. After I was done we exchanged numbers and planned on going to a nearby bar come Friday. It is always so great to see old friends, and I was in a positive mood the entire day.
