Happy with new furnace

I recently invested into a brand new furnace.

It was an expensive project but necessary.

The original heating system was nearly twenty years old. While it was still operational, it was showing signs of failure. I’d noticed that the furnace was making a lot more noises whenever it started up. Despite running more often, it was struggling to match the thermostat setting. On especially cold, winter nights, the house felt chilly no matter how high I adjusted the temperature. Every season, I was faced with a couple of minor repairs and the cost was adding up. Plus, I’d seen a gradual rise in my utility bills every year. I knew that a new furnace would not only be more reliable and improve comfort but provide superior efficiency. When the former furnace was brand new, it managed a 90% AFUE rating. The new one achieves a 98% AFUE rating. It features something called adaptable speed technology. Rather than being limited to an on or off setting, the furnace is able to run at speeds anywhere from 40% to 100% capacity. There’s rarely a time when the heater needs to blast at maximum capacity. By running at lower speeds for longer cycles, it eliminates temperature fluctuation and uses less energy. It further offers better filtration for a cleaner home and healthier air quality. I spent a small fortune on the new furnace to take advantage of the latest features on the market. I now have access to zone control, which allows me to avoid heating empty rooms. I can target those rooms that tend to be a little colder than the rest of the house.
