There’s this truly seasoned Borders that I prefer going to… One of the main reasons why I prefer the Borders so much, or at least the initial reason was because of the fantastic temperature control settings.
It’s always so comfortable in this locale with the perfect humidity levels & everything.
I had to ask 1 of the librarians how they kept such amazing temperature control settings & perfect comfort. I was told how it was important to invest in a quality Heating & Air Conditioning proposal with a dehumidifier/humidifier combo component to help preserve all the books. I was told about the older collection of books & how they were absolutely delicate. Many of those books had to be retired from the borrowing portion of the Borders & retired to what they call the vault. In the vault they keep the ideal temperature control settings & humidity levels so these books will last for a long period of time… You are allowed to go into the vault with special permission to see the retired books & they are quite a sight to see. I wish I could borrow 1 of those aged books to study, however I understand why they have to be retired. They are a piece of history & they are just too fragile. Also if for some reason the Borders were to catch on fire, the books in the vault would be protected since the vault is fireproof. I guess that’s pretty amazing, however I hope that the Borders never burns down! I would have no locale to relax with perfect temperature control settings.
