When I went to a local HVAC supplier recently, I told them I was looking for a quality HVAC.
Well, they told me about all kinds of fancy systems including radiant heated floors, ductless HVAC systems, radiant cooling, geothermal HVAC, and more.
It was too much for me to even think about. They were ready to answer all my questions and tell me all about these systems, but I just didn’t have the time. In my mind, it was all just a giant headache, so I said I just wanted the standard in a central HVAC system. I didn’t need anything fancy. I didn’t even need new ductwork, though I probably could use ductwork sealing and cleaning. The guy I was speaking to seemed to understand me well enough, and showed me quotes for standard central heating and cooling installations. He even showed me they would do a free ductwork cleaning for some of these options, and I decided to go with one of those which seemed like an entirely reasonable price. I didn’t care if there were other systems out there that were far more energy efficient, this new HVAC they installed was efficient enough. At least, it was more efficient than my old system and I was already enjoying lower energy bills after the new central HVAC unit was installed. I like to keep things as simple as possible, so I don’t have to feel stressed about everything, and this works out well for me for the most part. Now, I just need to see about getting the cooling system in my truck working again.
