It was time for an A/C upgrade

Probably for the past year or so, I have slowly been making upgrades to my home.

I have never been the kind of person that was interested in interior design and decorating my home.

But since I plan on selling my home in the next year or so, I have been trying to increase its value by slowly improving different parts of the home. Sometimes it is the little things that really make a home. I have added a backsplash in my kitchen, as well as new granite countertops. A few of the other things I have added is crown moulding and painted a few rooms. Then for the last few months I noticed something odd. I started feeling hot and cold patches around the home. My A/C system would turn itself on and off at whim, as well as it was cooling efficiently, even though I could feel the cooling air coming out of the air conditioning vents. I should have guessed that this meant my heating and cooling system was going out on me. When my A/C unit did finally give out, I actually wasn’t bothered that much. Because I realized, if I sold my house with a 10+ old HVAC machine, it wouldn’t be nearly worth as much. However, if I completely updated the cooling component, that would only add to my home’s value. So I did a little bit of research on some of the newer models of HVAC, and sought ones that had a high SEER rating for best efficiency. A cheap HVAC device wouldn’t do much for my home. After I found one I like, I called a local HVAC business and had an appointment scheduled.
