It’s a team effort to finish on time

Last Friday night, I had dinner with my girlfriend planned at a very nice restaurant

I work with a lot of really great employees, and I try to treat each person like they are an important and valuable member of my team. I own an HVAC company that specializes in indoor air quality solutions. We have a number of service members that are NATE certified. We offer many different heating and cooling related services including cleaning and sanitizing ductwork, installation of HVAC equipment, and indoor air quality checks. We install AC units, furnaces, boilers, ductless options, and radiant heat solutions. My team and I always work together to complete every job. In the morning, I schedule all of the jobs for the day. If jobs are canceled, I send the employees to help out in other areas. No one leaves at the end of the day until every single job is finished. When I was an HVAC employee, my least favorite part of the job was working late when someone else went home at 3. All of my employees go home when the last job is finished. It’s a team effort to finish on time and that means everyone works harder. Even I join the guys and gals if we need to work late. I don’t expect anything from the crew that I am not willing to give myself. Last Friday night, I had dinner with my girlfriend planned at a very nice restaurant. The last job of the day was an air filtration installation and the two guys assigned to the job were having a terribly difficult time. I was nearly an hour late for dinner and we had to reschedule our reservations, but I didn’t leave until everyone was ready to call it a day.
