My schedule now includes my workouts

I’m not all that organized or overly meticulous.

I’ve realized that being more structured in my home and work routine is helpful.

It saves time and avoids stress. By getting my schedule under control, I’ve been able to add fitness and nutrition classes. I now workout at the gym regularly. I am attempting to live a less stressful and more healthy lifestyle. The fitness class is available to all members of the gym. The instructor not only leads us through a strenuous exercise program but recommends ways to improve our eating habits. In the past, I’ve always found it difficult to stick to a regular workout routine. I never seemed to have enough time. Because my efforts were sporadic, I wasn’t seeing the results that I wanted. Now that I’ve made the fitness class and my workouts at the gym a priority, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my strength, stamina and flexibility. I have started keeping track of my workouts, including time spent and calories burned. I work to beat my personal best in running times and distances, swimming laps and lifting weights. I have even downloaded a jump rope app onto my phone. The app provides guided workouts that are really challenging. As I’ve gotten in better shape, I have gained confidence in other areas of my life. I have more energy, sleep better at night and look forward to setting new goals. I have competed in local marathons, joined a rowing club and often participate in pick-up basketball games.
