I am lucky enough to have a task that I actually love.
Yes, I am 1 of those people that can tell everybody else truthfully that I prefer our task. It is a thing that I find to be precious nowadays, which is even more of a reason why I guess that I am lucky. All of our coworkers are friendly and our boss is a chill dude that is laid back. It is a sizable change from our previous task where our boss was super strict and consistently hovering over everyone while they tried to work. I don’t even mind Wednesdays. However, nothing is perfect and if I were to change 1 thing, it would be the temperature of the office, unfortunately, the manager of the building believes that if everybody is chilly every one of us will be able to focus better. As a result the sizable commercial Heating, Ventilation and A/C component that is on the wall is consistently blowing chilly air. The air conditioner is consistently blasting and as soon as that chilly air hits your skin, you can’t help however to shiver. In our experience, I can focus better when I am not chilly or thinking about how chilly I am. Everyone that comes in is consistently wearing a sweater or a jacket. There was this 1 time when the Heating, Ventilation and A/C plan broke down, and the indoor air was room temperature for once. They were struggling to get a heating and cooling worker to service the broken air conditioner. Everybody was ecstatic when it wasn’t working because every one of us were not chilly. When the cooling specialist did arrive, everybody was putting their sweaters and jackets back on. I guess I can deal with the chilly if it means having a task I enjoy.
