I think the store I work at is going out of business.
It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but I keep seeing our shoppers disappear into other stores, as well as important repair on the store has been going down for awhile now.
It doesn’t even look like my boss is trying. I recognize awful for my boss as well as keep coming to work, even if I might not have a job soon! Recently our air conditioner had stopped working. This wasn’t all too surprising, considering since it was old as well as has been having complications for months. I don’t think my boss has enough money to spend on the air conditioner proposal though, especially if we’re not going to be in company much longer. Although I still certainly much prefer working at this store, the heat is start to get to me. I still have to wear my uniform, which is certainly dark in color as well as long sleeved to make it worse. At least I don’t have to deal with shoppers that much with this heat. I think the heat has also been keeping them away as well. I tried making things easier for my boss by opening windows as well as letting a cooling breeze enter the store while remaining at the money register as well as that has absolutely helped. A neighbor of a neighbor of mine, I knew was in the HVAC business, as well as I asked for a favor to maybe help option up the store a bit. She gave myself and others a discounted rate as well as both of us were able to afford to have the air conditioner component fixed. I also started helping my boss advertise to help get the store going again. I hope with all of these efforts, the store can afford to stay open.
