Sometimes I wonder why people make life more hard for themselves than they need to, then my mom is a perfect example of this! She is typically finding new ways to make her life complicated and taxing to navigate; No matter how much the two of us try to discourage her from taking on new hard jobs, she cannot be stopped.
I think that I must have inherited this unfortunate habit from her, for the past various years I have been particularly beside myself when it came to managing my indoor energy bills.
