Sometimes I wonder why people make life more hard for themselves than they need to, and my Dad is a perfect example of this, she is consistently finding modern ways to make her life complicated and difficult to navigate… No matter how much both of us try to discourage her from taking on modern hard tasks, she cannot be stopped… I know that I must have inherited this unlucky habit from her… For the past many years I have been absolutely beside myself when it came to managing our indoor daily bills. I never used the control unit severely intensively, but our daily bills were consistently climbing through the roof. I could not figure out why our utilities were so high all the time, however, it successfully deterred myself and others from trying to use our air conditioning plan most of the time, however the central AC unit seems to suck up a lot of our power. It cost myself and others an substantial amount of money when heat and humidity rolled into the area! Eventually, I stopped using the central heating and cooling plan all together. That was when a wonderful friend of mine commanded that I just take her outdated AC window unit for our own house. For the past many weeks I’ve been using the outdated school AC window component in our kitchen to cool it down at night. I am finding that the powerful AC unit does a wonderful job maintaining our indoor air quality and our daily bills are not any higher, but of course, this discovery made myself and others pause when I realized I could have had this air quality solution all along. For years I struggled with high daily bills and low quality indoor air when all I needed was an AC window unit.
