When my friend told me she had gotten a second air conditioning device, I wish I could say I was surprised, but I was far from it. My friend is very careless when it comes to her heating and A/C machines. I am not sure why, but she seems to think those heating and cooling machines are invincible, and neglecting them won’t do any harm. When she buys these portable air conditioners, she doesn’t ever change the air filter, or turn them off for that matter. The portable A/C device is always running, with very little care. And then she wonders why they break so often. She complains that they don’t last long, and when I try to tell her why, she doesn’t want to hear it. The thing is, I have had my portable A/C device for the past 8 years, and it has worked fine all of this time. She has gone through two in a few years. So I know how to properly take care of the heating and air conditioner like you are supposed to. Honestly, I don’t think there is too much I can do for her, since she is not going to listen to me anyways, I think I am just going to have to hope she learns in time to take proper care of the machines she owns. But going off of her history, I don’t think she will. I have a feeling she will keep going through them, and buying new ones.
