I have been working as an independent heating and air conditioning contractor for about 10 years now.
I have my very own little heat and a/c business that I run as a one man operation.
In this decade I have been doing this I have never taken any time off other than the usual weekend. It is time that I do take a break soon. As much as I admire and have a passion for what I do in the heating and air conditioning business we all need time off from work and we all need to take a break from time to time. This is my time. I am planning to close down shop for a month and go on a vacation with my family for a few weeks and then for the other few weeks I plan to just sit at home and do absolutely nothing! No thinking about heating and air conditioning and no thinking about work. I am just going to take the whole month to recharge so I can be the best that I can be in the heating and air conditioning business moving forward. I have a pretty good client base and have been very successful at maintaining this the last decade. If I did not decide to take this break I would be too burned out to keep up the great heating and air conditioning home services that I have been providing. I can just feel it coming. It is a good thing and a near miracle that this did not happen yet. I guess not being opened on weekends for heating and air conditioning business may have been what helped!
